As Co-Creator and Producer of EGG, I spearheaded this incredible internal Psyop initiative. I helped develop the creative vision and story behind Nightmare: Malaria the PSA, arranged for Academy-award winning actor and activist Susan Sarandon to narrate, and developed the partnership with Against Malaria Foundation; ranked the #1 most effective charity by Give Well, The Life You Can Save and Giving What We Can. I also worked closely with music partner Q Department who brought the story to life by creating an immersive and captivating soundtrack. Following the release, I co-led the PR efforts. 

AMF has distributed over five million long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) to malaria-stricken parts of the world, saving hundreds of thousands of lives — most of them children under the age of five. “The work EGG has done is simply fantastic,” says Rob Mather, Founder and CEO of AMF, “It’s a simple message with a simple request: please help with a net.”

Nightmare: Malaria (iOS and Android) was inspired by the PSA created by Establishment for the Greater Good (EGG). This was Emmy award-winning production company Psyop's first ever video game.

In addition to overseeing the production of the game as producer, I acted as client to ensure the game stayed consistent with the messaging established in the EGG PSA.

Nightmare: Malaria was a massive success. Within 4 months, the game was downloaded over 1 million times and to date (October 2014) has been downloaded almost 1.4 million times, active in 218 countries, and generated over 700,000 clicks to the AMF website.

Press response was equally enthusiastic, inspiring a feature about the creative direction of Psyop in Shots Magazine, an extensive feature on the multi-platform Nightmare: Malaria experience and the EGG program in Fast Company, Wired UK, as well as positive reviews in gaming press including Kill Screen, Cult of Mac, pocketmeta, and yukaichou.

Each year, over 1 million people die from malaria. About 70% of them are children under the age of five. A tragedy in itself, this also has terrible effects on the educational and economic health of entire regions. The most effective means of preventing malaria is sleeping under a mosquito net, specifically a long-lasting insecticide treated net (LLIN). Each net costs about $3, lasts for 3 to 4 years, and protects, on average, two people.

The “Nightmare: Malaria” game is part of a multi-platform effort to bring awareness to this simple fact: nets work. And giving money to the Against Malaria Foundation* is an incredibly effective way to save lives.

Prolific is a PSA that is as of now, unreleased PSA exploring women's rights. As producer I oversaw the team and timeline, collaborated closely with the director and writer on the story and arc of the piece, and worked directly with music partner Q Department on music direction.

"Serenade" is an ad created for the launch of Beck's new Sapphire beer. It aired on February  3, 2013 during Super Bowl XLVII. 

The spot features the Blackstreet hit "No Diggity", remixed by Chet Faker, which quickly moved to the top of the featured tracks on iTunes.

As producer, I built the initial team in collaboration with the technical director, oversaw the production schedule, team of 25-30 artists, and budget, and liaised with both agency and client throughout the production.

Psyop was asked to create a powerful in-theater promo that would fully envelop the viewer, to witness the birth of a natural phenomenon and vividly experience the destructive sounds of mother nature. The spot had to be artful and carefully finessed chaos.

As producer, I was responsible for overseeing some of the best artists in the industry who specialize in photorealistic VFX techniques in order to realize this vision. In addition, I communicated with engineers at Skywalker sound to ensure 5.1 surround sound perfectly meshed with our visuals.

An FX-intensive project, the choreography and animation of the flying and crashing objects were all designed with particular attention to the rhythm for the sound design created by Skywalker Sound.

I produced this ambitious mixed media collaboration between Psyop and Blacklist that combines printer paper, stop-motion and a dash of CG to tell the story of Xerox via Y&R, New York.

Shot in one room over two weeks with a solitary Xerox MFP, Psyop’s Laurent Barthelemy and Blacklist’s Denis “Cisma” Kamioka co-directed the tale of Xerox’s services, technology and expertise through constant movement and playful applications of paper.

As producer, I built the initial team in collaboration with the technical director, oversaw the production schedule, small team of artists, and budget, and liaised with both agency and client throughout the production.

Using a combination of live action footage shot in-studio, footage from Honest Tea's archives and stock footage I oversaw the team to produce this elegant spot highlighting the organic ingredients in the nation's top selling organic bottled tea company.

Video Manchester: Rebuilding the City Centre needed to capture the energy and vitality of the city center eight years after it was decimated by a terrorist bombing. The video illustrates the implementation of master urban planning concepts and depicts how they have been instrumental in revitalizing the city.
